Bob Schulz Presents: "CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2009" - Wheaton, IL 1/18/09 1 PM

On Christmas Day 2008 Bob Schulz published this message which said, in part, the following:

The People Draw the Line in the Sand

On this Christmas day, and faced with our daunting cause, we are reminded of scripture. In Paul’s letter to the Romans he wrote:

“….There is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. For he is God’s servant to do you good.

“….For he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute God’s wrath on him who practices evil, so be afraid…for he does not bear the sword in vain. For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing…” Romans 13:1-6

And from Jefferson we have:

"God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are a gift from God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, and that His justice cannot sleep forever." (excerpts are inscribed on the walls of the Jefferson Memorial in the nations capital) [Source: Merrill . D. Peterson, ed., Jefferson Writings, (New York: Literary Classics of the United States, Inc., 1984), Vol. IV, p. 289. From Jefferson's Notes on the State of Virginia, Query XVIII, 1781.]

Jefferson wasn’t the only Founder moved by such reasoning. They all knew the evils associated with a reliance on the whims of men, elected or otherwise, for individual Liberties and Freedoms.

Unanimously, in signing the Declaration, they all recognized that individual Liberties are endowed by “Nature’s God” and the “Creator,” and they all relied on the protection of “divine Providence” as they set forth to end Government’s violations of those Liberties, pledging to each other “our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.” Click here to access the rest of this update.

On the day before Christmas Bob and his wife, Judy, got in their van to begin a nationwide tour that will bring them in front of concerned citizens all across America. The purpose of this tour is to announce plans for a "Continental Congress" that will represent an historic gathering of individuals who will dedicate themselves to returning our great country back to the foundational roots of our Republic.

Here is a video of the recent Continental Congress Kickoff Meeting in San Antonio, Texas Part 1

Bob Schulz explains his plan for a Continental Congress in Philadelphia among representatives from all of the states to discuss action plans for dealing with violations of the Constitution.

  1. congratulation and good luck Bob. It would be good to invite a few independent constitutional
scholars from different institutions on board.

  2. Great idea to bowl for FREEDOM! I hope you do well and have a great turnout!

I would also like to point out that our current economic dilemma is ENTIRELY the result of the Federal Government sucking the financial air out of the room by being so massively huge as a result of scofflaw like constitutionally contemptuous legislation by both houses of Congress and actions by the Executive branch over decades starting with The Federal Reserve Act of 1913.

If WE THE PEOPLE don’t get a handle on these matters and force the U.S. Government to comply with the law, we will forever live under the equal distribution of misery, with nowhere to run, because by that time the forty owners of The Federal Reserve will have manipulated our Government, with our tax money, to create a One World Government under the UN who will ultimately be under the power of the Banker owners of The Federal Reserve company.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.
    Thomas Jefferson, (Attributed)
    3rd president of US (1743 - 1826)

If we, as a free people, don’t do something about what the U.S. Government is doing to us, with bailouts, Social Security and Medicare and numerous other Socialistic, economy and liberty killing programs, we will soon, in the near future, see paychecks where they have taken 70 – 80% of our earnings to pay for all the things they ARE NOT supposed to be doing according to The Constitution.

So if people want to live the “American” dream in “FREEDOM” they better procure the knowledge of the “meaning of” freedom, the canons of The Constitution, and the intent of The Declaration of Independence. We all must step up to the ally of Liberty so WE THE PEOPLE can bowl over those pin-head tyrants in Congress who have usurped our power, our money and our freedom that created it through the blessings of our almighty creator who gave us certain unalienable rights that NO MERE GOVERNMENT can rightfully take away; for wouldn’t that be the ultimate in blasphemy?

  3. This country has had many challenges. In the past we have always overcome them by relying on God. The Continental Congress in the middle of a war that was killing the citizens and taxing the treasury would proclaim national days of thanksgiving and of "humiliation, fasting, and prayer"(see March 16, 1776; May 17, 1776; and December 18, 1777. I don't expect the current adminstration to embrace this idea but it could be a direction you'd want to go.
